Hill College Continuing Education (CE) fall classes are open for registration.

Fall classes are offered in the following subject areas:

Health Careers

Nurse Aide Program is offered Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 5-9 p.m., Oct. 1-Dec. 5 in Cleburne.

Phlebotomy Technician Program is offered Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6-10 p.m., Oct. 1- Nov. 16 in Cleburne.

Fundamentals of Riding- Equine

Fundamentals of Riding Instruction is offered Thursdays and Fridays from 6-8 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. or Sundays from 1-5 p.m., Nov. 1-11 in Hillsboro. 

Workplace Skills

Customer Service Skills is offered Mondays from 6-9 p.m., Oct. 1-22 in Cleburne, or Thursdays from 6-9 p.m., Oct. 4-25 in Hillsboro.

Introduction to Computers is offered Mondays from 6-9 p.m., Oct. 5-26 in Cleburne, or Thursdays from 6-9 p.m., Oct. 1-19 in Hillsboro.

Computer Classes

Excel Level II is offered Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-9 p.m., Oct.2-11 in Cleburne. 

Word Level I is offered Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-9 p.m., Oct. 23-Nov. 1 in Cleburne.

Word Level II is offered Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-9 p.m., Nov. 27-Dec. 6 in Cleburne.

Dance

Ballroom Country Dance is offered Wednesdays from 7-9 p.m., Nov. 7-Dec. 12 in Cleburne.

Safety

Forklift Operations is offered Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Nov. 2 in Hillsboro.

OHSHA 10-hour Workplace Safety is offered Saturdays, 8 a.m.-1 p.m., Nov. 3-11 in Cleburne.

Welding

Welding is offered Fridays from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Oct. 5-19 in Hillsboro. 

The mission of Continuing Education is to advance individual, community, and workforce development through curriculum and training, which result in personal and professional enrichment. The purpose of the CE Department is to prepare students for certification in a skill or trade and to facilitate continual self-improvement through professional development and personal enrichment classes. 

Registration for all CE courses requires a completed Continuing Education Registration form. Hill College has an “open door” admissions policy, which ensures that everyone who can profit from a college education has an opportunity to enroll. When applicable, courses may have additional registration requirements that need to be met in order to comply with a certifying agency or a funding source.

Registration may be completed by visiting the Johnson County Campus at 2112 Mayfield Pkwy., Cleburne, TX, Room 116 of the Administration Building, or by visiting the Hill County Campus at 112 Lamar Dr., Hillsboro, TX. Payment is due at time of registration.
